About
IsraLotto markets Mifal Hapayis ( Israel's
National Lotto ) online worldwide.
Entries are by subscription. IsraLotto
subscribers have their numbers entered automatically twice a week.
There is no practical way of sending receipts to all subscribers twice
each week. Therefore the receipts are held by an authorized ticketing
agent of the Israel National Lotto. They also hold a register of each
subscriber's lotto numbers with their name and email. They process all
payments for winnings against the receipts.
And of course, IsraLotto holds the
details of every subscription. So there are two independent bodies
holding a record of each subscriber's lotto numbers.
There is an ombudsman, a practicing member of the Israeli bar, who is
empowered verify all of the above and to access all IsraLotto's records.
This ensures that we fully carry out our duties.
Specifics
IsraLotto subscriptions are processed by
KolBo Allan,
Rehov HaGra, Kiryat Yearim. They are ticketing agents
authorized by Mifal HaPayis. They have a register of participants
details.
(Allan Silver, the proprietor, is also the coordinator of the emergency medical
response service in his area. We are currently working on linking their
fundraising efforts to our site to give them some international
exposure. They inter alia cover the stretch of the Jerusalem - TelAviv
highway as it rises in the hills towards Jerusalem. A narrow and winding
2-lane stretch of the highway. This is the stretch dotted with
the hulks of half-tracks from the war of Independence.)
The Isralotto ombudsman is Advocate
Yair Berlowitz.
His law offices are situated at 24
Kanfei Nesharim Street, Givat Shaul, Jerusalem
As ombudsman he has access to all IsraLotto's records and can assist
clients who feel they have been unfairly treated by IsraLotto To
date he hasn't been called on in this regard.
Most
IsraLotto subscribers aren't
focused
on the prizes. They appreciate that the odds of
winning are slim. But since the stakes are low they take a chance. They view
IsraLotto as "the FUN way to support Israel".
